The Casino, Florida in the 50's

“Florida in the 50’s” series includes the historic Lido Beach Casino. It was built as a WPA project and demolished in 1969 except for the most notable detail of the building, the eight foot high cast concrete sea horses. The whereabouts of those popular horses remains a mystery today.
