Lithographs
Lithography uses a simple chemical processes to create an image. A plate is introduced to a compatible printing ink and water mixture, the ink will adhere to the positive image and the water will clean the negative image. Alois Senefelder of Bohemia is credited with inventing the process in the late 1700's. Lithograph and giclée printing are the most popular processes used today for creating high quality, long lasting, art prints.
